[ita] BLACK CANDY nasce nei primi mesi del 2003!
Il nome dell'etichetta un omaggio all'omonima canzone dei Beat Happening, gruppo seminale nell'indie rock americano, guidato da Calvin Johnson, fondatore della K records , etichetta che rappresenta un manifesto nel panorama dell'indie rock americano. Più che passione per un certo genere musicale, si tratta di profonda ammirazione per il modo di fare musica che tutti questi gruppi presentano, un'attitudine che ci piacerebbe fosse propria di tutti gli artisti che fanno e faranno parte della nostra etichetta. Se vogliamo un modo ingenuo e svagato di fare musica, di chi si prende magari non molto sul serio, ma possiede senza alcun dubbio un impressionante talento e un gran valore artistico

[eng] BLACK CANDY was formed in early 2003!
The name of the label is a tribute to the omonimous song by Beat Happening, a forerunning group of the American Indie rock scene, headed by Calvin Johnson, founder of K Records, a legendary label which deeply inspired the whole American Indie rock culture. But more than a passion for a certain music genre, we are talking of a profound admiration for these groups approach to music, one we wished characterised all artists belonging to our label. Behind this seemingly laid back approach, lies an immense and impressive musical talent
