About Me

Formed from the ashes of Manifest (circa 1996/97), core members Dieter (Guitar) & Sean (Drums) had unfinished business in the local metal scene and decided to regroup to bring thrash metal back to the masses. Past Manifest bass player Paul was soon brought back into the fold. When Mick, a local metal stalwart joined as vocalist, the band was complete.The music is much more advanced and thrashier then Manifest and it was decided a new name for the project was necessary.Hence the birth of BLACKENED.We are here to drink beer and wreck people’s necks!
