I am a guitar player and main songwriter for Blackened, a thrash metal band from Wollongong, Australia. I am also currently writing for 3 more heavy bands which will surface soon. These styles include death metal (Spiritual healing era Death / Vader), hardcore (Merauder / D.R.I.) and a style that can only be described as sludge. My name is Dieter and this means "warrior of the people", derived from the Germanic elements þeud "people" and heri "army". I think thats awesome!
