just like love, my favorite music has always found me when i'm least looking for it. fortunately, i've never been one to seek out either. some of my faves are ryan adams, ccr, cory branan, johnny cash, catfish haven, drag the river, drakkar sauna, lucero, magnolia electric company, mountain goats, neutral milk hotel, dolly parton, songs: ohia, sun volt, uncle tupelo, whiskey town, watson twins, and wilco.

Movies:

i love tons (without pretension), particularly 300, benny and joon, better off dead, big, the big lewbowski, the breakfast club, clay pigeons, the departed, dirty dancing, e.t., ferris beuller's day off, forrest gump, gladiator, lotr trilogy, love actually, the outsiders, the princess bride, say anything, the shawshank redemption, sin city, stand by me, stranger than fiction, transformers, tombstone, trust the man, turner and hooch, the wedding singer, when harry met sally, and walk the line. that last one never ceases to make me feel heart-heavy yet hopeful.

Television:

american chopper. aqua teen hunger force. californication. deadliest catch. emergency vets. it's always sunny in philadelphia. law and order: criminal intent. lost. miami ink. robot chicken. south park. that 70s show. what not to wear. x-files.

Books:

tons. i'm a big fan of the library.

Heroes:

mooninites. true blue friends. johnny cash. dolly parton. everyday people. dr. kevin fitzgerald. the crocodile hunter. and whoever invented whiskey.
