About Me

What do you want to know about me? Hmmm.....let's see what I can come up with. Guy and I are finally settled at our apartment in Indiana and we couldn't be happier right now! Guy's new job is going well and I landed a job as a teacher assistant for the year and then I'll begin applying again next summer for a fall teaching job. I am working on getting my Indiana teaching license as we speak! We are NOT married or engaged but some people say we might as well be cause it's definately in the future plans. My boyfriend is absolutely wonderful and he came into my life at the most crucial time, when I found out my dad had cancer. He was the one person I could turn to that would understand because his mom was fighting it as well. Unfortunately, we lost his mom on September 13, 2005 and my dad on February 15, 2006 but without Guy I'm not sure I would have been able to get through this difficult time in life. Each day is a new day and my dad would want me to live life to it's fullest so for his sake I am and I will!As for my family, I have two sisters as well as two brother-in-laws and my mom, my best friend! We are all very close to each other but I do have to say I confide in my mom the most, she is by far the most important person in my life (along with Guy!). In addition my two best friends are family as well, Liz and Kelly, they are treated like daughters by my mom (and my dad) and like sisters by my sisters, I guess that's what happens when they stick around for years! I love those girls!Things I am looking forward to for 2006: November 18 Chris and Jules' wedding, Thanksgiving weekend with my mommy, an award ceremony for my Daddy from General Motors Dec. 18, and lots of birthdays and holidays between now and the end of the year!!!!!I think that's about as exciting as I get for now but feel free to ask any questions you would like and I will be more than happy to tell you more about me! My Interests

To start, I love tinkerbell she is my favorite character and I look up to her because I never want to REALLY grow up that's why I'm going to teach elementary kids! I also enjoy scrapbooking when I have the time to do it and money since it costs way to much for my empty pockets. I love to read especially when I relax in the tub otherwise I have a tendancy to fall asleep, oops! I like to spend time with my family when we are together that is, it's hard being all over the place but that's part of life I guess. In addition to the family I love my kitty Smokey, my fat cat, he lives with mom so I miss him bunches! He is entertaining cause he's a little crazy even more so after he enjoys a little "kitty grass." Last but not least I love to spend time with my friends, I miss my two best girls however but I do have the third best friend with me all the time, Guy. That's about all I can think of at the time but I'm sure there's more!

I'd like to meet:

ANYONE! I am a major people person so I always like to make more friends. As for the famous people I'd shake all of their hands that's for sure and ask for autographs as well! Of course if I could turn back the hands of time I would love to meet my Grandpa's, one passed away before I was born and I'm told I'm a lot like him and the other passed away shortly after I was born.

Music:

To be honest I like just about all music it just depends on my mood. However, I do seem to listen to a lot of country. I would listen some of my latest favorites but most of the time I don't know the right titles or the singer. I do like "Jesus Take the Wheel" by Carrie Underwood, "Somebody's Hero" by Jaime O'Neal, "Bless the Broken Road" by Rascal Flatts, and "Tough Little Boys" by Gary Allan (my daddy-daughter song). Aside from country music I like "You're Beautiful" by James Blunt and "The Whistle Song". I also enjoy disney songs cause that's a real love in my life! There are many others and if I figure them out I'll let ya know.

Movies:

I love movies of all sorts and my favorites change by the day however I'll name a few I am into at the time: Just Friends, Mean Girls, Cheaper by the Dozen (1 and 2), RENT, Chicken Little, The Polar Express, The Perfect Man, All Four Harry Potter movies, Just Like Heaven, any disney movie......just to name a few. I love watching movies, even if they turn out to be dumb, as long as I'm in good company!

Television:

Favorite Shows: Gilmore Girls, LOST, Grey's Anatomy, Family Guy, The Hills and just about anything on the disney channel

Books:

Anything by Nicholas Sparks (A Walk to Remember, The Resuce, The Notebook, Message in a Bottle, etc.). I loved the three Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants as well as the Harry Potter books. I just finished Slightly Engaged and it was hilarious so I'll have to get the other two as well (Slightly Single and Slightly Settled). I am up to reading just about anything people suggest to me as well because most of the time they know what I would like. Right now I'm reading Little People. Got any to suggest?

Heroes:

MY MOM: She is one of the strongest woman in my life and I want to be like her in more ways than one!MY DAD: He always wanted to make people happy and he worked so hard to do it. He helped me out with so much in life and I can only hope that I work as hard as him in life and that I will be able to help my children when they're in need.GUY: We have been through a lot together but without him I wouldn't have been able to do it. He helps keep me going everyday!MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY: They inspire me in more ways than they will ever know.
