Let's talk about what I don't like, I like pretty much everything else. I hate what is played on "Today's Hottest R&B and Soul" stations. Don't like country save for some Dixie Chicks stuff and Mary Chapin Carpenter. Don't like gospel too much. Don't like Britney, Jessica and their ilk. Hate electronica and any hip-hop other than PE. Love or can find value in pretty much anything else. Of course, folkloric Algerian mondol music is among my favorite genres!
So not a movie buff. That said, I love "Ordinary People," "Six Degrees of Separation," "Mystic River," "Sideways." I love anything with Steve Martin and Bill Murray (yes, he existed before "Translation!") and Michael Moore's stuff.
