I was born and raised in Orange County. After high school, I moved to Los Angeles to go to The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising to major in Visual Communications and to intern for Instyle Magazine. Immediately after graduation, I moved to New York City and landed a job at YM Magazine as a Fashion Assistant for 2 1/2 years and got promoted to an Accessories Editor for another 2 1/2 years. While working full-time, I studied at New York University for Small Business Management and Entrepreneurship with strong plans on opening my own fashion boutique in L.A.(www.ecookieny.com)Recently just completed (and in honor) being a Fashion Market Editor for my VERY FIRST BOOK,"Full Frontal Fashion, Never Worry Again About What to Wear" by Melissa Sones which was in collaboration with Full Frontal Fashion television network and Penguin Paperbacks! (watch out! it is available July 2005 at your local bookstore). Current freelance projects include: Style Editor for Red Magazine UK, styling a photo shoot in Turks and Caicos (Carribean) for Fitness Magazine, Market Editor for Cargo Magazine, Accessories Editor for People Magazine's Fall Stylewatch special issue.. Life as a freelancer has never been better! I plan to move back to my home sweet home California sometime during Summer 2005. My fiance Heath and French Bulldog Diesel will be joining me once my boutique is in business Spring 2006 and we'll finally be able to live into our NEWLY PURCHASED dream home. We'll be one mile from the BEACH!!!!! Other than being addicted to work, I love to roller blade, kick box, snowboard, play tennis, have an obsession with the gym, cook ultra unique Thai dishes, and of course my most favorite part of a day.. sleep! But I do have to say, that both Heath and I love anything that gives us a challenge and allows us to take risks with an adrenalin rush... skydiving from 14,000 feet up! Travel is also our forte.. we have river rafted an open jungle in Jamaica, dived the vivid reefs of Key West, Cayman Islands, St. John, St. Thomas, Virgin Gorda, and Tortola. Our next adventure? Santorini, Greece. Before we take the big plunge of marriage and kids, we have vowed to each other to do everything that we have always wanted before it all happens. We are having an absolute BLAST!
