A cosmic twist. What if life is all a dream?

About Me

I decided to update my page. I was born and raised in the Boogie Down Bronx, and moved to Brooklyn four years ago. Currently I'm on a road of self discovery and personal growth. I just recently got engaged to the love of my life John on 03/24/07. I love writing, and hope to try my hand at getting published soon. I will be returning to college next year to pursue studies in Human Services. As a crime victim myself because of gun violence I want to be involved in helping others through the red tape that was frustrating and difficult to manuever to gain help and justice. I am trying to make the best out of the worst with the second chance I got.I love myspace and the past year has allowed me the opportunity to keep in touch with family & friends, get in touch with people from my past, and meet unique people on here.I love blogging on myspace and just wanted to let everyone know that if you want to read my blogs you have to be on my friends list.So keep in touch and remember I appreciate each and everyone of you even if I don't comment or email you all the time on myspace.

My Interests

Writing, the enjoyment of music, movies, theatre, dancing, karaoke singing (who cares if you sound horrible? It's supposed to be fun.), reading any book with a plot that keeps my attention when I should be doing something else, addicted to Ebay(HELP!)and concerts. Last but not least my soulmate John.

I'd like to meet:

Like-minded souls who are straight forward and down to earth. I'm cursed with self awareness and would like to meet people in the same predicament. I'd like to meet survivors of the daily grind like myself, and people who enjoy good conversation/company.

Music:

Music is my lifes blood! To name a few....I like Metallica, Pantera, Anthrax, Rob Zombie, Lacuna Coil, Motley Crue, Evanescence, Linkin Park, Korn, System of a Down, My Chemical Romance, Green Day, The Cranberries, Alanis Morrisette, Simple Plan, SlipKnot, Aerosmith, Kiss, Madonna, Shakira, 80's Music, Pink, Stone Sour, Nickleback, Freestyle from the late 80's early 90's, Some Hip-Hop and R&B. Classic Rock, and of course Salsa,& Reggaeton, etc.

Movies:

I love Movies! I have a huge DVD collection, I love comedy, Drama, Horror, You name it. As long as it has a good plot and good performance on the acting front I'm good.

Television:

Supernatural, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Charmed, Ghost Whisperer, Veronica Mars, Smallville, CSI, Highlander, South Park, Robot Chicken, Family Guy, American Dad, The Simpsons, Japanese Anime Cartoons, Most reality TV shows, and anything I stumble upon with the remote that's interesting when I have time to watch TV.

Books:

It depends on my mood. I love Stephen King. Definitely the king of horror. The Queen of horror Anne Rice, I know it's probably cliche for a woman to say this but I can really get into a good bodice ripper romance novel. ) I also read Zane erotica novels. I also like mystery novels. It does not matter who wrote them as long as it keeps me guessing and immersed in the plot.

Heroes:

My mother for having me at 14 and struggling and raising three kids while on welfare and getting a GED and College Degree, and proving you can achieve anything if you keep trying through adversity. Support the Troops in Iraq and Bring Them Home!, all victims of Gun Violence, and last but not least all my fellow Americans we lost on 09/11/2001. (You are not forgotten)
