I am here for Dating, Serious Relationships, Friends and Networking

About Me

I'm Angus Taylor; easy-going guy, a dude, a talented bass player kicking out the jams with my alt.country rock band "Hellcat". If I don't disgust or scare you within 2 minutes we could probably be friends (I NEVER know what to say to new people, so I usually fuck it up). I'm pretty intelligent, I love talking about the world and spirituality, just yakkin' about the mysteries of life. I've also got some of greatest friends on the planet, who have helped me and gone to distances a million others wouldn't. PS: No, I'm not; Irish, American, or Canadian, I'm Scottish (Highland), I know it's not as exciting, I'm sorry ;)

My Interests

Great bass playing. Music/live gigs. Cooking. The works of Thomas Paine & the American Founding Fathers. Imperial/Regency clothing, Bi-planes, the colonization and revolution of North America, the Wild West, the Great War, handlebar mustaches, muttonchops, and most "Old World" stuff. Discussing philosophy + religion @ 3:00am over a bottle of whiskey while listening to obscure blues records (the tea time of the soul). Cups of Coffee, gallons of Tea, and pints of Real Ale :)

I'd like to meet:

Les Claypool, Billy Connolly, Bill Bailey, Serj Tankian.

Music:

Tom Waits, Nick Cave, Guns N Roses, Metallica, Primus/Les Claypool, Parliament/Funkadelic, CCR, Eels, Green Day, Flogging Molly... to name a few.

Movies:

All films by/with; Quentin Tarantino + Robert Rodriguez. Also Samurai films like; Zatoichi + Babycart, and some anime. I've always loved Johnny Depps' films, and all the Robert de Niro/Joe Pesci mob flicks, and Mike Meyers, The Marx Brothers (I'll just play this harp I found), Jim Carrey and Tom Hanks are cool too.

Television:

Anything on "Dave" (Top Gear - I like James May). South Park. Red Dwarf. Shameless. Sopranos (the final episode was EXCELLENT).

Books:

Fiction by: Stephen King, Douglas Adams, Terry Pratchett, some Tom Holt. Any history/biography books that interest me.

Heroes:

Thomas Paine (a good ol' Norfolk boy). John Fairfax (if you're looking for a real hero story; Google this guy).

The Hawking of life

One morning a farmer found an injured baby Hawk in his fields. Feeling sorry for the Hawk the farmer takes it home to the hen-house, where it can be warm and heal. A whil...
