Right now my main interest is preparing to move back to PA. I am currently living in Minneapolis, MN. That is all changing, and I will be making my grand return at the end of October. I also enjoy watching and participating in a variety of sports and activities, going to see live music - whether they be local cover bands at the local bar or national recording artists at a major venue, relaxing at the bar with an ice cold beer, or simply sitting at home doing absolutely nothing!
John Lennon. It would be tough, but how cool would that be!?!
I listen to mostly alternative, pop-punk, and rock music. I thoroughly enjoy live bands and going to shows. Here is a partial list of bands I enjoy: The Beatles,Green Day, Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains, Local H, My Chemical Romance, Taking Back Sunday, Foo Fighters, Jimmy Buffett, Johnny Cash, Live, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Any Chris Cornell incarnation, Thirty Seconds to Mars, Godsmack, Offspring, Bon Jovi, Violent Femmes, Bowling For Soup, The Doors, Fountains of Wayne, LostProphet's, Jane's Addiction, Queen, Oasis, Metallica, Radiohead, Social Distortion, Something Corporate, Weezer, Tripping Daisy, Third Eye Blind...and the list really could go on and on...
I am not the biggest movie fan. If I had to pick a few favorites I would go for the classics - The Godfather, Deliverance, Caddy Shack, Goodfellas, A Clockwork Orange. I have not realy been impressed with too many movies over the last 10 years. Too many feature tired plot-lines, bad acting, and recycled themes.
I watch a ton of television, and yet still find time to be a well-rounded, wonderfully social, educated and charming individual. Ha ha. Here is a short list of shows I like to watch (and this list could also go on and on)-- Monk, Psych, The Dead Zone, The Simpsons, Family Guy, Cold Case, CSI Miami, NCIS, Criminal Minds, Seinfeld (Still the greatest show ever), Dancing with the Stars (I am secure enough to admit I watch it), American Idol, Numb3rs, Without a Trace, Dirty Jobs, Mythbusters, Glenn Beck (Yeah, I am the one who watches that show)
I am a big reader. And I read books without pictures!! I prefer twisted, true crime dramas that are full of nastiness (I love the good vs. evil aspects of these types of books). Some of my favorite authors are-- Jonathan Kellerman, Jeffrey Deaver, John Sandford, John Lescroart, Nelson DeMille, David Baldacci, Patricia Cornwell, Sue Grafton, Lisa Scottoline.
A hero to me is anyone who is willing to risk their life for an idiot like myself, and who risks their life for things that I take for granted everyday of my life. Words cannot express the gratitude! Heroes are also those who go to work everyday, work hard to earn every dollar they make (and we know they don't make enough), never complain, and do what they have to do to get themselves and their families through another day.
