About Me

Yo soy de este pueblo!!! Rionegro, Antioquia, Colombia.La historia de Rionegro estÃ¡ ligada a la historia de Antioquia, y en buena parte a la del paÃs entero. Esta es tierra de obispos, pensadores y prÃ³ceres. Rionegro es la cuna de uno de mÃ¡s importantes grupos de soldados que se fueron al sur del paÃs a pelear con el general NariÃ±o y donde JosÃ© MarÃa CÃ³rdova tenÃa su cuartel general. Durante la segunda mitad del siglo XX, Rionegro comenzÃ³ a ser un importante centro industrial donde la fabricaciÃ³n de textiles y zapatos reemplazaron la agricultura y ganaderÃa que fueron la base de la economÃa en la regiÃ³n. Con la llegada de la industria a gran escala el pueblo se empezÃ³ a transformar. Hoy en dÃa la plaza principal estÃ¡ rodeada de edificios de tres y cuatro pisos, y ademÃ¡s de la Catedral de San NicolÃ¡s que se terminÃ³ de construir en 1804, en el parque sobreviven solo algunas casas que cuentan el pasado histÃ³rico de Rionegro, como la Casa de la Maestranza, donde el Sabio Caldas fundiÃ³ las armas para el ejercito de la guerra de independencia, y que hoy es una notarÃa.I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4

ok, I love watching good movies... I hate horror or scary movies, they just dont hold my attention... I love: SLC Punk, Equilibrium, Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind, Fight Club, Forest Gump, Star Wars, Todo el Poder, Stalingrad, AI, Garden State, Starship Troopers and any movie that Adam Sandlers is in, I think is worth watching. And lets not forget, lord of the rings.
