For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal."What do I say about myself? I'm in love w/ my Savior, Jesus Christ. He is so good to me! He has brought me out of darkness into the light. He has healed me beyond what I could ever imagine. Things I thought I would live w/ forever are no longer an issue. God has traded beauty for my ashes. Where there was pain, he has replaced it w/ love. I just have so much love for Him and for others. I love sharing His love w/ people. I have more of a hunger for His Word. I long to spend time w/ Him. He is my best friend. He is my everything. I am a fun loving person. I am outgoing and I LOVE to laugh...often. I have the most beautiful girl in the world! Her name is Athalia. I call her Attie for short. She is growing into such a lovely young lady. I love watching her personality bloom.I am a transplant to GA from MI. I've lived here for over 14 years now so I consider Atlanta my home. I still say pop though b/c that's what it's called (not Coke)!! I love it here and would love to stay here unless God calls me overseas. I have an amazing church and wonderful community.

My Interests

I'm interested in Jesus and loving Him. I enjoy hanging out w/ others who love Him. I love going to Fusion on Wednesday nights (http://www.fusionatl.org/home.cfm). My daughter is the light of my life. She is my compass that keeps me on the right path. I love her and enjoy spending time w/ her. I also enjoy being around people, especially people who are loyal, uplifting, and forgiving. My friends are awesome and have always accepted me for who I am and have ALWAYS looked past my mistakes. After all, we're only human. I love life and try to take time to enjoy the simple things of it. I would prefer to hang out at home w/ some friends or go out to eat or to the movies or something.

I'd like to meet:

I'd like to meet anyone who will be a positive influence in my life. I don't have time for people who bring me down or have a negative affect on people around them.

Music:

I love all kinds of music. I'll listen to just about anything when the mood is right. The majority of the music I listen to though is Christian music. It's the most uplifting and puts me in a great mood. Some of my favorites are Barlow Girl, Chris Rice, Third Day, Mercy Me, Outof Eden, and Jaci Velasquez.

Movies:

Napolean Dynamite is my favorite movie b/c you don't have to use ANY brain cells to watch it. It also reminds me of my childhood so I get kind of nostaligic when I watch it. I enjoy comedies the most, but I watch a variety of different movies.

Television:

I don't watch much tv, but there are a couple shows I like. House is my absolute favorite show! I watch Grey's Anatomy when I can. I try to catch Prison Break too. That show is so fascinating! I usually don't get around to watching much tv though b/c I'd really rather watch a movie.

Books:

Captivating was great! Velvet Elvis by Rob Bell was AMAZING! Queen Esther's Reflections by Ann Platz was monumental in my life, I'm currently reading Soul Cravings and Scream Free Parenting.

Heroes:

My hero is Jesus. He is the only one who can truly love unconditionally. He is the only perfect one. It is my desire to be like him and it's something I work on everyday. He's the only hero who will never leave me or let me down.
