COLLARBONE!
Helsinki-based junior rockers Collarbone started their career by winning Finland’s biggest and most prestigious battle of the bands, Ääni & Vimma (Sound & Fury). From there they were grabbed by Spinefarm Records’ sublabel Ranch, and were given some help from the best in the business for their forthcoming debut album.
The debut album, entitled “The Back of Beyondâ€, was produced by Jonas Olsson, who has previously worked succesfully with the likes on Disco Ensemble and Callisto. The mixer of the album is Jens Bogren (Opeth) and finally, it was mastered in the famed Sterling Sound in New York, by Ue Nastasi (Panic! At The Disco, Killswitch Engage, Type O Negative, Sepultura).
The ironic and insightful debut video is being made of the song “The Last Call†by the dynamic duo of Finn Andersson and Akseli Tuomivaara. The video is slated to be ready on week 10/2007.
Collarbone will release their debut single "The Last Call" on March 7th and their debut album "The Back of Beyond" (Ranch Records) will be released on March 21st. .
