About Me

My AOL Instant Messenger ID is "ali jaberr" if you want to chat with me....I'm a pretty laid back dude. People say that I have a fucked up sense of humor. I'm into a lot of different stuff: music, movies, art, nature, bicycling, fishing, science, and science fiction off the top of my head. I'm also into Politics, but I usually don't talk to people about it because someone usually ends up getting pissed off...usually me. I cosider myself a very spiritual person, but not at all religious (there IS a difference). I like watching sports, but I don't get into all the stats and details like other guys do. I like shooting sports too, handguns as well as shotgun. I really appreciate martial arts. I took Hapkido for a couple years. I've always taken the side of the underdog, which would probably explain my veiws on politics. I also love to cook. There isn't really one thing that I'm really all about. But if I had to choose, it would probably be music. Playing, listening to, or going to shows. I got a couple hundred CD's. I would have a lot more but they've either been stolen lost or mangled. I took guitar lessons in high school, but it never really sank in. I started collecting drums after high school; especially African drums like Djembes and Udus and Talking Drums. I used to have a lot of studio grade Latino drums, but I had to sell them. I played in a couple bands for a few years for shits and giggles. We did gigs at local venues in Tampa Bay. My musical prefrences are quite broad. I went to Saint Petersburg College for a few years, to no end. I also took a few correspondence classes in nutrition, herbology, homeopathy and naturopathic medicine. I also went to massage therapy school to learn the trade. I also went to Commercial Captain's school to get an OUPV captain's license.---------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------

My Interests

You are The Moon

Hope, expectation, Bright promises.

The Moon is a card of magic and mystery - when prominent you know that nothing is as it seems, particularly when it concerns relationships. All logic is thrown out the window.

The Moon is all about visions and illusions, madness, genius and poetry. This is a card that has to do with sleep, and so with both dreams and nightmares. It is a scary card in that it warns that there might be hidden enemies, tricks and falsehoods. But it should also be remembered that this is a card of great creativity, of powerful magic, primal feelings and intuition. You may be going through a time of emotional and mental trial; if you have any past mental problems, you must be vigilant in taking your medication but avoid drugs or alcohol, as abuse of either will cause them irreparable damage. This time however, can also result in great creativity, psychic powers, visions and insight. You can and should trust your intuition.

I'd like to meet:

--------------------------------------------------------I'm just using myspace to stay in touch with my friends and find ones with whom I have lost contact. The people that you see on my friends list are either my friends, my current or former coworkers, or my former schoolmates. Don't get me wrong, I'm flattered that strangers request to be my friend. But, its hard to prove people's intentions when you can't look them in the eye. I'd rather meet a stranger in person, just to size them up and see what they're really all about.

Music:

My musical prefrences are quite broad. I like just about everything except really shallow, meaningless music like pop music and country. I happen to be a big fan of bluegrass, which shouldn't be confused with country because you actually have to be talented and inteligent to play bluegass. I also am very fond of classic rock (especially jam-bands). I'm also a fan of punk, thrash, speed-metal, funk, Go-Go (from Washington D.C.), emo, lounge music, Jazz (not smooth Jazz, but the real straight-ahead stuff), Regee, Ska, Blues, Hip-Hop (not dirty south or gangsta or booty crap) soul and motown, world music, and last but not least classical.
You scored as reggae.
