About Me

Uh. I'm nineteen and I'm at the University of Northampton doing English/Philosophy. I'm fairly quiet and shy (that is, socially inept to the point of sheer paranoia). I like anime, manga, videogames, writing and various kinds of comedy. That sounds really boring and generic. Um. I signed up to MySpace through morbid curiosity and much prefer Livejournal. I like bunnies. My aim in life is to be more mangatic (and a published author).

I like yaoi. If you don't know what that is then chances are that you won't like it.
At the moment, my current interests are wavering more towards comedy and such than anime and manga, though I still love that too of course. I've got to stick up for the Seirei boys (see: the pictures decorating this profile), nobody else has heard of them ^^;;
When it comes to comedy, thaaat's a harder question to answer. The easy answer would be "mostly everything", ahaha. I have a weakness for Irish comedians at the moment. Ed Byrne and Dara O'Briain are my faavourites. It's my goal in life to be able to see more comedians and the first step towards achieving this goal is learning to drive. Want to learn to drive this summer. Wish me luck~! I will get to Edinburgh, I will get to Edinburgh...

I like to think I'm a generally friendly sort of person, though I have low tolerance for mindless airheads who live only for clubbing and alcohol and can't understand why I don't like it. I'm pretty loyal to my friends, though I'm a bit of a solitary person. Translation: I don't get out much. But I prefer spending time on my own or with one or two good friends than big group events anyway. Unless said group is made up of my good friends, then that's okay. However, said good friends are now spread all over the country, so that's a bit difficult these days...
I'm also seemingly nocturnal. Most of my lectures don't start until the afternoon so this means I can stay up all night and sleep through 'til the afternoon. This usually leads to my flatmates never seeing me and wondering what's happened to me - but it's just that I'm hardly ever awake at the same time as anybody else, really.
Unless I'm depressed (seems to happen quite often) or busy under deadlines (happens when lots of deadlines are due), I like to spend my time writing. Most of my writing is based around my fandom interests - at the moment I'm mainly writing Seirei Gakuen fanfiction, though I don't have much finished at the moment. I have a lot more Sorcerer Hunters fanfiction, you can find that - and most of my other writings - here . I'll usually post writing to Livejournal before I update my website though, so if you're that interested in what I write then it's probably a better idea to keep up with that. If you like. I'm not really confident that anybody reads either my fics or my Livejournal anyway, to be honest.
