horror movies, manga, anime, asian food, SNES and atari (OLD school). My current manga are Ranma 1/2 and Excel Saga, although I'd really like to read more by Junji Itoh or Kazuo Umezu, who both do horror manga.
Hell, anybody! I just plain love people. Feel free to say Hi. Gotta warn you though, I am married beyond married. Even though I still find people quite lovely to look at, I'm not looking for any action outside my marriage. But I always love meeting new people, especially if they want to talk art, anime, literature, whatever!
:::::A NOTE ABOUT MY TOP FRIENDS:::::
I wish there was some way to show everyone, since I love each and every one of you guys. But there ain't (without having THE most cumbersome page EVER anyway) so I have resolved to rotate my top friends. I want to make sure that everyone gets a chance to be seen. So if you see things changing again and again, have no fear, you're all tops in my book.
love, heather

I also really like Japanese horror movies, like Ringu, Ju-on, One Missed Call, Battle Royale (not sure if that's horror, but its certainly horrifying). And I devour George. A. Romero movies like there's no tomorrow. I liked the Silent Hill movie...my next *fun* project will be a Pyramid-Head plushie ("Red Pyramid Thing" from Silent Hill 2).
CSI (the original one with William Peterson), Poirot, and Adult Swim. Otherwise I generally turn on Spike TV and let the police videos/Bond movies/Scarface blare in the background, or put on "City Confidential."
I adore the fiction of H. P. Lovecraft and the artistic interpretations of it by H. R. Giger. (I already have a plushie Cthulu guarding my tv set.) If you haven't ever checked out Giger's Necronomicon, by all means do. Gorgeous, and terrible, stuff. Kafka is also good.
My parents, my husband, my friends. Anyone is my hero if they show grace and kindness when dealing with difficult things.
