Im an east coast guy. lived in St. Johns since 98 and before that i was back and forth between NS and NL regularly. grew up in the back BACK woods in central NS(Caledonia) and in the City of St. John's NL.
im recently remembering the times in my life where all I wanted to do was execute rednecks with a sniper rifle.there were quite a few of those times. maybe that has something to do with my sometimes overwhelming resentment for this society in general. or maybe its just cause this society in general is fucking vomit inducing.negativitiy asideI do like being pro-active and enjoy alternative communites.in NL i was organizing events like The Vic Park lantern fest, 709 metal fest, promoted bands like Misery Index, Dead Jesus, Infernal Majesty, and Thine Eyes Bleed along with local acts, played drums in bands like Rapid Burial, Skull Face and others, Her Majesties Secret Cervix,and Gorged, was active in the youth culture through a youth arts collective , I curated a terminus1525 gallery, worked on films, activism ect and did a radio show.
i moved to HFX in the fall of 05 to go the art college NSCAD and play some heavy music writing and drumming.Started Gorged and in that incarnation we played 2 shows in HFX sharing the stage with Misery Index, Neuraxis Thy Flesh Consumed, Skinless and others. Gorged is currently inactive and in the meantime i have been writing some music on guitar in the vein of a grindy spazz. with this id like to start playing shows and see where it goes.I read, write, sculpt, drum, culture jam, volunteer(when I have time )draw, cook, jam, play guitar,bike around town, watch movies, get wasted, dream and drink smoothies
