Lucrecia began her music project in MedellÃn, Colombia in 2003.
Acerca, her first full length album was released under the colombian label Series in 2005, and was re-mastered and re-released in 2007 by the mexican label Mil Records with some new tracks and new versions of the songs. Like being Home is her first EP released under the netlabel section of Series , in wich she works using more acoustic sounds, recording the sounds of everyday life objects and with a better vocal exploration, all mixed with the characteristical sound of her previous works: Soft voices and beautiful melodies.
Lucrecia has also made some remixes for two members of Mil records from Mexico called Latinziser and Tre/molo, and vocal collaborations for Jack's son from Abolipop Records and Arhkota Drummer.

With a flawless narrative solvency, in the new Lucrecia ep remains certain traces of their previous effort, and although both of them share some obvious resemblances, she gives more space to the acoustic instruments and leaves aside some elements that she no longer considers indispensable. Lucrecia has never humanized herself this way before, she is less indulgent and more personal. Surprising author music in the best sense of the word.

Lucrecia - Acerca (new album)"Acerca" by Colombia based artist, Lucrecia. Electro sounds, random noises
and her own fluid vocal work mesh with a strong melodic sense to create an intoxicating set by
the newest arrival to milrecords. Colombian native Lucrecia began her musical
solo project in 2002 in Medellin, where she resides. Her sound is based
primarily in strong melodies layered with interesting
combinations using her own fluid vocals, random noise and shades of electro-pop.
In the studio she uses mainly software for the electronic component of
her music, which is balanced by the use of
melodica, guitar, flute and harmonica, creating a nice balance of acostic and digital.
