I was born in North London, Stokie to be precise, but I've always lived in Tottenham,'Come on you Spurs' the original North London Football club, check your history Gunners. I love music, music and MUSIC. I DJ and am involved in Arts and Events managent, I also work within the care sector, I try to make a difference. My parents are from a beautyful island called Sri Lanka and have been blessed enough to visit my country of origin. I am nature kinda person, so when I do get a chance to get away I like to visit places where Mother Nature is in your face rather than the shopping thing. I love laughing and try not to be too serious, life guarantees drama, so I like to be happy as much as I can be. I am a funny person because I need to laugh on a regs, other than music and love that is my medicine.I'm a die hard music junkie, l love it. just when I think I'm calming down, I hear more and more TUNES and I realise it's in my blood. I am a DJ and work in Events management, so theres no getting away from it and I would'nt have it any other way. I love food and cooking is another passion, got a bit of a rep around the way. Being of Sri Lankan orgin, the hotter the better, spice for life, also love a bit of international cricket, go on Sri Lanka. I love and adore nature's gifts, the ocean, the sun, flowers, and all beautiful things. Got a bit of a soft spot for the Deep Blue and all it's residents, no I'm not a Hippy, just love the earth.Music My world within, my first love, it just pumps around me like adrenalin x 10, thankyou world for the gift we call music. I use to give my Mum a list of tunes I wanted from the age of about five. However the first 7' inch I bought on my own was 'I owe you one' Shalamar 1978 and 12' was 'I'm in love' Evelyn Champaign King. My Mum was into Atlanta Soul, Reggae, Country and Western, Rock 'n' Roll, so I was exposed to a range at early age. My Dad use to hold Dances in the 60's, hmm, wonder where I get it from. My Cousin was one of the first Asian Soul and Jazz Funk Djs to play at The Kents Soul Festivals in the 70's and let me tell you he had MUSIC. So I have had the privilage of being surrounded by a whirlwind of music. I've always loved different types of music like, Soul, Lovers, Revival, Soulful House and Garage, Broken and Afro Beats, Latin, Nu Soul, Hip Hop, Rock, Pop, Jazz and I love Drum'n' Bass. I love Earth, Wind &; Fire, Frankie Beverly &; Maze, Prince, Roy Ayers, Marvin Gaye, Anita Baker. I also love Abba, the Bee Gees, Beatles, The Doors, Richard Ashcroft, Stained, there just so many. On a Drum' n'Bass tip I love Calibre, Marcus Intalex, Jenna G, Roni Size, I think Hospital recordings are just Bangin'. London is just on FIRE when it comes to music, just look out for these names, Break Reform, Jazz Reloaded, Julie Dexster,Marcina Arnold, D'Nell, you just got to dig a little bit deeper people...
