About Me

I just recently celebrated my son's first birthday. It was a bittersweet day. I am excited to see Noah grow and continue to form his already strong personality. Yet I am sad that his first year has literally flown by! On a child's first birthday, you can't help but reflect back on giving birth one year ago that day. I delivered Noah naturally, with the help of God, my husband, my midwife, and my Bradley Method instructor(thanks Veronica!) It was a powerful experience in my life, and I am forever changed from it. I had a low risk pregnancy, and so chose to go natural in order to protect my baby from unnecessary procedures and harmful drugs. But an unexpected benefit occured. The process of birthing my son gave me a deeper reliance on the Lord and with that comes more peace and confidence. I encourage any woman who is blessed with a low risk pregnancy to consider natural childbirth. Research for yourself the possible side effects that pain management drugs have on both you and your baby. Then learn about natural childbirth. I suggest reading Husband-Coached Childbirth : The Bradley Method of Natural Childbirth, by Dr. Robert A. Bradley. I had a non-scary, peaceful, wonderful experience when I had Noah. I will definitely go natural again with my next child if God blesses me with another healthy pregnancy!

My Interests

Growing closer to my Father in Heaven. He has given me the best husband in the whole world, and now, we have a wonderful little boy! So needless to say, I am all consumed with the family the Lord has blessed me with. I am very interested in both the positive and negative cause and effects of modern science in the medical field. I have two 14 year old cats that I love to death, and have found their curiosity about the baby to be entertaining. I'm passionate about interior design and architecture, especially historical buildings. I love singing in the car, swing dancing, reading a good book, and getting my feet rubbed.

I'd like to meet:
