THE 478 TV SHOW

Winner of the 2006 Greenway Award for “Best Overall Production”, THE 478 is a local produced television show that focuses on “what’s happening” in the Middle Georgia area. The show was created and is produced by four Macon State College students who wanted to create a vehicle for aspiring artist of all entertainment to use as a first step in their careers. From music to fashion to politics, the program features an array of local talents and entrepreneurs that are given the rare chance to be seen in a television talk show format, as well as celebrity guest interviews. The 478’s guests have included some of middle Georgia’s most artistic people, as well as prominent businessmen and politicians. Some of our celebrity guests have included Academy Award winners Three Six Mafia, and super rap stars Ludacris and Juvenille. The show boasts a talented team of hosts that together make each show as unique and unforgettable as the last. Every week Stacy B, Roc Payne, & Breon hangs out with guest and give the audience, ranging from ages 13 to 35, all access passes. Along with interviews and live performances, the program also features recurring segments that are designed to educate the community on local history and health related issues.
