I'm in Hawaii most of December to early January!!

About Me

Me I am from Hawaii, currently in LA finishing up school. I have less than 1 year here to complete my Master's! Surfing is a large part of my life, but as I found out from finals time, it gets put on hold from time to time, due to crazy school work, cold water, and bad waves. But usually, I will go out late night, and get less than 3 hours of sleep to surf dawn patrol. I need to have constant access to the beach! Someday I will live on the beach. I'm into observing people, places, and life. And oh yea! I'm fun. Surf, fun, run, surf, fun, run, surf, fun, run. I love my family, friends, and of course Stewart, Spider, HIC, Tooly and Aipa--my boards. Love & Surfing Love is surfing. It is reality, escaping the fakeness of bills, superficiality, glamour, and high society. The ocean takes everyone in, and rejects none. It's consistant, always there, tides rise, tides fall. The ocean is cleansing, natural, love... everything pure. True beauty. True beauty is the thought that you can fly, even if just for a moment. Or it could be when you thought you overstepped your boundary, going a little overboard, but made it big. I'm insignificant in the ocean, just a speck on the earth. Dolphins, larger than I, playfully flounder with all their power and grace beside me. It reminds me that I'm a part of something larger. I love how after a session, I'm so much more in tune with myself, my inner thoughts and body. It's a dosage of positivity: my love, my religion."What is Occupational Therapy?" HAHA, no it is not therapy for people at their work... although it can be. :) We promote wellness and health in a variety of settings. "Occupational therapy practitioners are skilled professionals whose education includes the study of human growth and development with specific emphasis on the social, emotional, and physiological effects of illness and injury." "Occupational therapy is skilled treatment that helps individuals achieve independence in all facets of their lives. It gives people the "skills for the job of living" necessary for independent and satisfying lives." (www.aota.org).My goal is to start up my own clinic and program in Hawaii. Surf therapy!!!!!!!!!! That's the life.
