My interests are computing - I help maintain all the PC's where I work and also take a look at friends and family PC's.
Lis has completed her Childminding course and should be qualified within the month. Her choice of relaxation is to have a good hard game on "Painkiller".
Sion has his PS2 and use of the three PC's scattered around the house.
Hannah enjoys her dancing, and is learning Yoga at school!
Ryan loves anything that goes Boom, Bang, Splat or Vroooom!
We're all hardened Doctor Who (the new series) fans and love sitting in on a Saturday night with the surround sound turned up, the lights down low and Ryan clutching a cushion! Is there anything better in life?
Kids would LOVE to meet Doctor Who and Rose - Hannah has her listed up ther with Hermione (Harry Potter) and Bratz! We're thinking of a trip to the Doctor Who exhibition in Cardiff (or was it Swansea?) in the near future.
Gav is a fan of Star Wars, but enjoy most films. Sometimes prefer something a little deeper, but don't really mind.
Lisa likes rom coms and dark, vampiric / Gothic films. The Bridget Jones films are on her favourites list, along with Van Helsing, Bram Stokers Dracula (THE best Dracula film ever!) and Hitch.
The kids have discovered Bugsy Malone and are currently watching or listening to the sound track non-stop.
All the Harry Potter movies are up there at the top of the kids favourite films.
Sion enjoys more grown-up films now - well, he is 11! Recently watched The Island, which we both thoroughly enjoyed.
Hannah is a real Girly-Girl and enjoys anything pink, fluffy, Barbie or Bratz related.
Ryan likes to watch Power Rangers (or as I call them Flower Rangers - guaranteed to get him wound up!)
What else but Doctor Who! I remember the days when it was embarrasing to admit you liked it, but the new series has put paid to that! Well Done, BBC Wales!
Family favourites are the Dark Materials trilogy by Philip Pullman and the Harry Potter series of books (of course). Gav is reading (again) the Hitchhikers trilogy of five. Lis is reading the final book in the Dark Materials trilogy - The Amber Spyglass. Sion is reading the Johnny Maxwell trilogy by Terry Pratchett - currently on "Only You Can Save Mankind". Hannah is reading "The Witches" by Roald Dahl. Ryan has his box of words from school and the little books he brings home. Leo the Rabbit has not shown much interest in reading, though he did wee on the Cambrian News' front page a while ago.
