The name is Mike, obviously. I just got married on August 12 of '06. I married the sister of one of my college basketball teamates! I've lived my whole life up in Alaska and I love it up there. I grew up in the town of Homer, but since I got married, I moved to Washington state where my wife is from. Laci is a nurse and she loves it. I have spent the last 10 years on the Time Bandit, a crab boat out of Homer. For whatever reason, I love being out in the Bering Sea catching crab! There is nothing like pulling up a King Crab pot with 100 crab in there! The whole thing is an adrenaline rush that I'll never outgrow! I took last winter off from crab fishing because I just got married. I plan on going crabbing again this fall ('07) for King Crab, then again in January for Snow Crab.
