Dance. When I was in Victoria I danced with Lynda Raino Dance for 9 years. Modern Dance before you ask. It was a wonderful and eyeopening experience, not to mention teh 4 page spread in People MAgazine, Good Morning America, and going to San Fran twice to do 2 paid performances. Very big part of my life.
People who aren't afraid to be themselves. To laugh! Lifes too short to be politically correct all the time, ya know? If somethings funny, its funny! Just DO IT!mspmb allowScriptAccess="never" allowNetworking="internal" enableJSURL="false" enableHREF="false" saveEmbedTags="true"
Anyone who knows me knows I am nothing without music! I just don't get people that when you ask them what kind of music they like, they say 'I dunno", or 'I dont care, im not really into music'...WTF??!! How is that possible?! I just don't get it. Music feeds me, moves me and I can't do much without it! I like all kinds of electronica...haha....everything has its time and its place..I know....most of my friends are DJs so I get pretty spoiled by them..and I LOVE IT!( Thanks to Nate, Chewy, Christoph, Phong and Pants!) I have even liked a few dnbjungle mixes in the past, but I'll never admit it! If it isn't country, then I'm usually pretty cool...
This is a tough one. On one hand I enjoy the brainless yet hilarious movies, like Van Wilder ...Q:"Whats that intoxicating scent your wearing Doris? A:"I have cats." or National Lampoons Christmas Vacation..."Save the neck for me, Clark." or Princess Bride, "Inconceivable!!" But I am a BIG Canadian film follower. I love Don McKeller (Last Night, The Red Violin, Twitch City), Atom Egoyan (Exotica, Ararat, The Sweet Hereafter, Calendar), Patricia Rozema (When Night is Falling), to name a few. Anything British...I have all the Black Adders, love MOnty Python, red Dwarf, The Office, Shawn of teh Dead, love it all. Recently I fell in love with Crash for soo many different reasons. Ummm...It's All Gone Pete Tong, wikkid...again for many reasons...what else...Im sure I'll add to this as it comes to me. Borat was just watched...wow! NOTHING is sacred in that movie. Wikkidly funny and a great commentary on our own 'social evolvement'.
I haven't had cable in 10 years and evertime I watch TV somewhere else, I am reminded why...there is NOTHING on!! Absolute shite! Except Prison Break...Wentworth Miller is so hawt right now! Good lord!! If I had to choose, I would say Kids in the Hall, a teeny tiny series from Don McKeller called Twitch City that only ran 2 seasons...so random and bizzare...I think I was the only person who watched it....Food channel...I mean, HELLO? Iron Chef? You have to LOVE translations from the panel of judges...ahem..."this soup reminds me of walking through cherry blossom feilds when I was a child...the wind blowing through my hair...sigh." hahaha. Lets see, the Lonely Planet, cuz I wanna be a world traveller too! (And that Ian guy is soo funny! If he can eat a sheeps eyeball then dammit! So can I!!) Like I said, I'm not a real TV person, Id rather hangout, drink and drink...oops! Was that twice??!
Harry Potter, The Lemony Snicket Series, The Golden Compass Series, The Hiriam Key, Griffin and Sabine, Life of PI, I'll add more...
