The sixties experience in the words of 49 people who lived through it. From the turning of the tide to all out revolution. I am reading this in conjunction with Tolstoy's letters on Civil Disobedience and Non-Violence.
We are living through an amazing time. Unfortunately, unlike the idealists and revolutionaries of the 60's, it's not only hard, but basically illegal (thanks to that fucking Patriot Act) for anyone to stand up...and we need to now more than ever.
Let us learn from the non-violent revoltionaries of US history and March, Boycott, Sit-in, and Stand-Up against 30 years of our current administrations planning (Watch the PBS Special "The Darkside" available at your local library)and reclaim this country..."of the people, by the people, and for the people"
