My Name is Lukie and I am known in various circles in the music business as Gudamowf. I am a rapper and a producer of Hip-Hop and various other genres of music as well as a co-director/producer in the "Junglevibes.tv" movie series, my credits also include the soundtrack for the indie film titled "Battle Scars" written and directed by Karim Lopez.As an artist I found the industry turned their backs on the type of music that I had been raised on. The "Hardcore Image." Had lost most of it's appeal in mainstream pop culture. To make a long story short Music was changing, it no longer contained meaning or a message. So in an attempt to give me and my colleagues a chance in the business, I started my own Company which I named Blacklist Productions.Blacklist Productions is a New York Based Company with chapters in europe as well as Florida and areas surrounding NYC. The Blacklist sound is, for the most part an original compilation of Hip-Hop, Jungle, and reggea music with a sense of urgency and tension resting beneath every track. It is a conscious style of music born and bred from the ghetto world wide.Blacklist Productions has released two Records in the Hip-Hop/Ragga Jungle genre of music entitled, Blacklist 001, (Side A: "Bigger Den Dat" written by Takik and MC Stada Featuring Bass Nacho, Side AA: "Time and Place" Written by Human? Featuring Bass Nacho). And Blacklist 002, (Side A "Boombaya" Written By Human Featuring, CK, Bass Nacho, Bang 2, Gudamowf and M1 of Dead Prez, side AA "Boombaya" Written by CK and Bass Nacho Featuring CK, Bass Nacho, Bang 2, Gudamowf and M1 of Dead Prez). Boombaya is also featured on the "Intune Ragga Sessions." Compilation C.D.The musicians in Blacklist were all schooled during the days of ski masks, graffiti crews, and truency, so some might call it a throwback to my own era in music.This is the Blacklist.
