Myspace Contact TablesMy name Jeremy I am the owner and operator of Reckless Skateboards. Started in Georgia in 2002 By Ricky Ansbro now back to it's original stomping grounds "VB". Reckless Skateboards is a company designed for skaters, created by Skaters. Rick Ansbro founded the company in 2002, and it was sold to Jeremy Phelps a long time friend of 16 years. Rick started the company in hopes to give back to the industry that we have loved for over 17 years. We grew up in Virginia Beach, VA., and there is no doubt that skateboarding has impacted our life and the lives of many others. That has been one of the factors that has driven us to work so diligently at Reckless. We believe Skateboarding can have a positive impact on kids. Now if we can get key people in the government to realize this then skateboarding will move further along. Thank God for all the Pro's out there who work so hard at promoting our great culture. Every skater should help open the eyes of their local Government to the positive side of skateboarding. It is up to people like us and every skater out there to get the ball rolling for "free" public skate parks. Reckless will always stay "core", we do not plan on selling out to corporate. We will never become "corporate monsters" and we are in it for Values, not for huge profit margin. Although we would like to make enough money to stay afloat. Skateboarding means more than that to our company and team. We will continue to grow as we skate along the way.
