East Coast Cripplers Quad Rugby (Murderball) team is based out of Eastern Virginia. We are the only team of its kind in the state of Virginia. We are dedicated to expanding the sport of wheelchair rugby by competing in tournaments, putting on educational clinics, speaking at local, state, regional, and national professional conferences on the importance of sport opportunities for individuals with physical disabilities. The team also educates the public on the sport of rugby and dispels myths about individuals with disabilities through community service events and rugby demonstrations.The East Coast Cripplers consist of the following athletes: Captain Kevin Crombie and Co-Captain Eric Ingram, Raul Pernites, Jeremy Phelps, Donald Crandall, Tim Shelton, Steve McGuire, Sheldon Lane, and Colleen Wittig(Coach). We practice on Monday nights at Ryan Academy in Norfolk, VA and Friday nights at Indian River Community Center from 6:30-8:45.
