About Me

Hey, I’m Jeff. I am originally from Huntington, WV. After moving to Morgantown for college and taking a job in Houston, TX for about two years, I've finally settled in Charleston, WV (for now at least), which is great because my friends and family mean alot to me and I get a chance to see them much more often these days. I’ve been here since February '07 and I'm already taking advantage of the great outdoor activities that WV has to offer. I love to mountain bike, hike, camp, and basically anything else outdoors. I also have come to enjoy going to the Mountain Stage concerts, going to the trendy little bars and restaraunts downtown, and spending time in Kanawha State Forest, which the locals call "Charleston's best kept secret."I’m an engineer for a natural gas transmission company here in Charleston, but I spend lots of time in Louisiana, Texas, and Tennessee for the job. I like it because it breaks the monotony of working 40 hours a week in a cubicle (yes, that's right... I have a cubicle). I have a niece, Zoee, and a nephew, Zane who I enjoy hanging out with when I go back to Huntington. I’m always interested to meet new people, love the outdoors (but wish I could take advantage of it more often), and love being back in WV so I can take advantage of my WVU football season tickets! My favorite baseball team is the Red Sox, but I grew to follow the Astros when I was in Houston, as well.I love music, regardless of whether I am playing it, listening to it, or attempting to write it. My pet pieves are people who use the word "ironic" when the situation isnt really ironic, and people who are condecending. If you want to know more, just ask!

I feel that people our age have a responsibility to stay aware of what is going on in our world and be involved in the process that picks the leaders who will dictate our country's policies.

I'd like to meet:

People: John F. Kennedy, Leonardo da Vinci, Dave Matthews, Dan Brown; Personality: I like people who are down to earth, have some common sense, and who like to let out and have a good time sometimes, but know when to let that side show. I like people who can talk about just whatever, and who are honest. People who think that the cashier at the grocery store and the local bank's branch manager deserve to be treated with the same respect are my type also.
