About Me

Ingvild Hasund grew up on the weather beaten west coast of Norway, and has since ventured out to live in America, and more recently England, before returning home with many more musical influences to draw from. Though her music originally showed inspiration from Norwegian folk music and other "world music" references, she has now created a more eclectic blend of electronica, jazz, easy listening, classical music and still some elements of folk music. In the end it comes out as atmospheric and melancholic pop music, compared by some journalists to the early Goldfrapp sound on "Felt Mountain". The song Rush has received much praise after appearing in the video game Dreamfall (sequel to "The Longest Journey"), which was released in spring 2006, and soon there`ll be more to come! An album is currently in the making, and as time moves along, more information will be available about that. Until then, you can enjoy these samples!
