DJ Rugged One

Greg Fils-Aime aka DJ Rugged One, well rounded dj for the past 14 years and competed in competitions such as DMC, ITF, Guitar Center Spin-Off and several local battles for 6 years. Not to mention, Rugged was the DMC NYC regional finalist in 2005, also recently well deserved placed in DMC DC regional-3rd place and DMC Boston regional-2nd place in which he was a regional finalist in those cities in 2006. He has spun at numerous bars/lounges and clubs through out New Yor City and Boston area. His skills will dazzle you and gets down for his crown and can rock the crowd for sure. His skills shows good presence and showmanship with his juggling and skratch sets. His style of mixing makes the crowd dance when he does trick and creative mixes, makes the crowd go in awe. The mixtape 6 Great Albums Vol. I along side with JF aka Jesse Fellus recieved good reviews through magazines and several articles. Also, made an appearance on Mista Sinista's mixtape Break U Off laying cuts on Ashley's Roachclip and that's just the beginning. This year Rugged One was nominated for best turntablist at the M.I.C Hip Hop Award in Boston, MA on June 2006. Rugged was in a featured article on the Boston Pheonix and also an article on the Wax-Off DJ Battle in the Boston Herald that held at Pardise Lounge in April 2006 and placed a runner up...Need I say more ???? He's in a dj crew The Addicts consists of Complex, Marcus and Demize, truly gifted dj's can be seen at venues, rocking parties and rocking mixtapes at a store near you !!! Right now he's in the works of upcoming projects such as mixtapes, chopping cuts for artists or groups and of course hustlin' for clubs. So get ready to venture into his world of djing and his music.
