Music:

I love music. There aren't too many types of music I do not enjoy. It all depends on the occasion. If I am in the car I usually bring my homemade CD's of POP, Country or old Motown music. Anything from Broadway Musicals. I grew up in the disco era and still enjoy getting out on a dance floor for hours.

Movies:

I love romantic comedies, tear jerkers & musicals. I also enjoy drama and suspense on occasion. I do not like violent or horror movies. West Side Story, When a Man Loves a Woman(or anything with Andy Garcia in it), How to Lose a Guy in Ten Days, Sweet November, Pirates of the Caribean,Titanic, Notebook, "ENOUGH" WITH J-LO (had my own personal experiences with abuse)Gone with the Wind, Sound of Music,A Star is Born,Speed & Many More....

Books:

I love to read but it puts me to sleep so I come on the computer to read to keep my brain from freezing. Ha ha I'd also love to write a autobiography one day..I have a lot to tell.

Heroes:

Definitely my parents, my Aunt Ruth (all below) and anyone else who loves me for who I am despite my craziness!!! I could really go on forever here. I have lots of hero's in my life in different ways. My wonderful husband Dominic!!! I love you honey!!!WOW, MY MOM. I really don't know what to say. I guess I could say I am her clone. I have her manorisms, her personality, her sensitivity, her cooking talent, her silliness when she was in a silly mood, her looks, and her smile. Oh, and I also have her tendency to put on a few pounds because both love ecquisite food. My mom was probably one of the only people who understood me totally and excepted me for who I am on this earth. When I was depressed she had compassion, when I was stressed she tried to relieve my stress by using her calming talent with me or just by sitting and talking to me and understanding, when I was silly, she would laugh at me like crazy which was a lot of the times and when my crazy personality would come out she would know that girls just want to have fun!!! She loved to watch her kids enjoy themselves. It would amuse her for hours just to come to one of my parties and observe. She was soft spoken but enjoyed people very much, as I do. She died too soon!!! I miss you Mommy!!! Wish you were here to see that even at 53 years old, girls still want to have fun!!!

My daddy, wow, what can I say, he is a great man who loves his kids and would go to the end of the earth for us. He is an ole fashioned Italian dad with strong beliefs and you know about it if he doesn't like something. But a kitten in his heart. He worked hard for Eastern Air Lines and retired many years ago. He and my mother came to Ocala and I followed. Now, mom is in heaven and he has remarried a nice lady named Muriel. Daddy was a very big sportsman in his day. He played football, basketball and baseball. I guess that is where my nephew Michael got his genes. Dad still plays senior softball and sometimes rachetball if his health is up to par and even if he isn't feeling well, he still goes to the baseball field to be a part of something. I am really happy that I get to live close by him.What can I say, my Aunt Ruth is a wonderful woman. She and my grandfather lived upstairs from us in New Jersey when I was little. She started at a very young age introducing me to the arts and culture and took me almost everywhere she went including church. Although I left New Jersey at a fairly young age, when I went to see her, she continued to bring me to NYC. It really kills me that I developed this awful fear of flying in an older age in my life. Aunt Ruth used to come to visit Ocala every year around Easter time. She is now physically unable to take the trip to Florida. We are seperated by my fear only because I speak to her regularly. At my age she still corrects my grammer..lol I was fortunate to have her show me some of the most important things that I have carried through my life. Love and Courage when life seems it's darkest are two things I will always remember. What a wonderful woman.

Me and My DADDY!!

Well, my husband, what can I say? He and I met later in my life after I had my children and had failed terribly at other relationships. In the beginning I would have to say we both took on one anothers problems early on in our relationship. He with his and mine with mine. I also brought a young boy with special needs into his life. Dominic was a confirmed bachlor most of his life so not only did he take on children, but one with speicial needs. It was a long road for us to get to where we are today. He and my son are doing great, he loves my daughter and adores our grandchildren. I cannot say that it's all been easy and that is still is, but there is no perfect relationship. Two people just have to take the good with the bad. If there is enough love, it all just works out. My husband is a hard worker and provides a beautiful home for me and my son and my daughter and grandkids when they visit. He is a private person and isn't quite the people person that I am but is great about my friends coming by to visit, even for weekends. He approves and trusts that I get along with girls and guys the same. How many men do you know that do that?? He's also wonderful about me going on a short weekend trip now and then to spend some time with the girls. I guess that leaves him some time to watch his sports...lol, he loves sports. Only God knows what each relationship will bring, some are lucky enough to have been in the same one for years. I can only wish for that with Dominic. He's a great guy, sometimes moody and a pain in the butt but I still love him just the same.
