Pimp-My-Profile.com - Build a SlideshowDavid Serpa and Tracy Meeker founded "No Luck Joe Productions" in March of 2005, with a film adaptation of "Romeo and Juliet". The film premeired April 13th at the University of San Diego Film Festival, and went on to win "Best Adapted Screenplay" and "Best Picture" at several other independent film festivals. After the success of "Romeo and Juliet", the pair decided to head north to El Dorado, where David Serpa directed and acted in his original theater piece playing opposite Tracy Meeker. The play, entitled "2 Hours", enjoyed a successful run, due in part to tremendous support from the local business in El Dorado County. "2 Hours" was nominated for "Best Original Script" by S.A.R.T.A. After the run concluded in September, the pair relocated to Los Angeles, and began work on an original screenplay, entitled "Taken".In January of 07 "Taken" had it's World Premeir at The Eclectic Theater in North Hollywood.
