Johnny Goes West

Crumpet quarters...

About Me

Johnny Goes West first came about in late 2005, after a succession of musical happenings between five hip kids from Buckinghamshire and Bedfordshire.
Ex-bassist Tim and rhythm guitarist Walls wanted to start a new band, after the previous, The Canals, seemed to drift into a somewhat unachieving void. The two kids introduced drumster Chaz Hodge to the scene and then on the night of "Profile Fest 2005", Mike joined for lead guitar and Phil Lindsey for vocals.
After some disputes about the name we were to have, we decided on Johnny Goes West.
In March 2006, we wanted a change in sound and so Phil left the band and Mike took on the role of vocalist.
The four friends with similar interests (and senses of humour) now began to play some gigs and got heard.
Since then we have played a lot of gigs and even been on radio 1! We released an EP last year called "A Side of Charm" with 6 songs on and if you ask us nicely we will give you it for £3! If you ask us even nicerly we might sign it...:P
We recently said goodbye to our bass player Tim and got a new one called Joshua Henry Edmund Davis, who is great!
