Film (especially horror films and UK films), literature, music (indie leaning, but I'm very eclectic), guitar, bass, snowboarding, skateboarding, surfing, drinking, thrill seeking, exploring, hanging with friends, and pretty much anything else.
Cool people, friendly people, people with shared interests, people who want to hang out and have a good time, etc....oh yeah, and Irish babes!
Wow! A tough question. Bob Dylan has to be my all time favorite (next to Bob Marley, of course). Where does it spirl from there? The Doors, Johnny Cash, Lou Reed. Old Skool Punk: The Clash, The Damned, Op Ivy, etc. Not so big on new skool punk anymore, but some gems still manage to hang around my playlist (Alkaline Trio leading the charge and Rise Against following close behind...and Propagandhi's Potemkin City Limits is still a gem in my book). Let's talk Indie Rock. The Shins, Modest Mouse, Arcade Fire, Sunny Day Real Estate, Interpol. British Rock: Razorlight, Yourcodenameis:milo, Waiting Room (Irish Indie Rock). What else? Death Cab for Cutie, The Fall of Troy, Hawthorne Heights, Silverstein, Sullivan, Darci Cash, The Hanks, Endicott, Circa Survive, Emery, Minus the Bear, Underoath, Funeral for a Friend, Alexisonfire, Thice, Thursday, Taking Back Sunday, The Early November, Sense Fail, Panic! At the Disco, I Am the Avalanche, Jawbreaker, The Lawrence Arms, I Can Make A Mess Like Nobody's Business, At the Drive In, Old Skool Smashing Pumpkins, etc., etc., etc. Seriously guys. The Best music of the 90s came from Radiohead and Sonic Youth.
Goodfellas, Battle Royale, A Clockwork Orange, The Shining, Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Silence of the Lambs,The Big Lebowski, Boogie Nights, Magnolia, Blade Runner, Fight Club, Apocalypse Now, Kill Bill vol 1 and 2, From Dusk Till Dawn, Gladiator, The Doors, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Godfather Parts 1 and 2, Jaws, Requiem For A Dream, Aliens, Training Day, LA Confidential, Chinatown, Susperia, Bram Stoker's Dracula, Sleepy Hollow, The Ice Storm, Croutching Tiger Hidden Dragon, Heavenly Creatures, The Empire Strikes Back (my favorite Star Wars film), The Professional, Gangs of New York, Dogma (or any other film by Kevin Smith), The Man With No Name Trilogy, Unforgiven, The Dreamers, The Shawshank Redemption, etc.
I don't really watch TV, but sometimes I'm down with The Simpsons, Family Guy, Beavis and Butthead reruns. I mostly watch HBO shows, The Daily Show and Chappelle Show. Oh yeah, and Real Time with Bill Maher!!
Heart of Darkness, Catch 22, The Seawolf anything by Poe or classic vampire tales. I'm into folklore and legends (especially horror). Lord of the Rings. Sorry, but I can't stand Harry Potter (just not my thing). Vertical Run, Atlas Shrugged, The Fountainhead, and whatever non- fiction books catch my eye (I'm a political junkie too).Too many books to name, so let's talk authors: Noam Chomsky, Chuck Palaniuk, Joseph Conrad, Jack London, Lovecraft, Hunter S. Thompson, Charles Dickens, Hemingway, Tolkien, Polidori, Hugo, Joseph R. Garber, George Orwell, Howard Zinn, and Irvine Welsh.
