How's it goin? I'm EJ, but I'm better known by the names to which those initials belong. I am a ballroom dance instructor, and I work a ridiculous amount of hours (thanks to "Dancing with the Stars"), so my social life has been reduced by more than half. I do enjoy people, though; I have very philanthropic views on life, and the common welfare of people.I am often misread or misunderstood because I am so different from a lot of people. This is a curse and a blessing- I like being my own person, but I don't like some of the misconceptions people have about me. To help clear some of them, here are some tidbits about my character:I treasure the time I get to myself. Though I wouldn't consider myself a private person, I do cherish the precious moments I'm allowed for just me. It is one reason I take such long showers- it's a place of great comfort that allows me to think and create without the distractions of other people.I enjoy sports and other competitive types of games, but I don't play them as often as I'd like because I can't stand what it does to people. Trash talk is not something I practice, and I hate when it's practiced on me. I see no use for it, and no good in it. Why not pump someone else up? Why not congratulate others when they perform well, instead of belittling them when they don't?I eventually want to get married, but I have decided not to date at this point in my life. It's a long story, but I am content with this decision, and any external pressure to do otherwise will only drive me further into my cave of celibacy.I love music of all types, and would thoroughly enjoy being a part of the popular music scene. However, my focus is set more on the sacred side of music. God has done more for me than I could ever tell, and I feel that the musical gifts He's entrusted to me would be put to great use for church music. I'll have a music page set up in the near future so you can hear some of my projects.And despite the fact that I work later in the day, I get less sleep than I should because I work later into the night as well, and I'm a night owl. It takes me forever to wind down in the evening, and be ready for bed. That and there are always a million people at my house to host...
