About Me

PNICHTE LOUGRES TA KOUNELIA started as a free jamming band in 1994 in Athens. The majority of members came from Stavrakos film school, as most of them were students of cinema. The first public show by the band took place in AN club in Athens early 1997.It is still remembered by everyone who was lucky to attend as the most crazy, episodic and hilarious performance in the history of this particular club. It was the first time that champagnes were opened and flowers thrown to the musicians and performers on stage. The band is still performing live in various venues around Athens and have also made appearances in anti racist festivals in Crete. OPISTHOFILO is their first studio mini EP and it was released independently. Their greatest achievement so far is their participation and live show in ANT1 radio station broadcast as well as their alltime performance in Anita Pania TV show...as special guests!March 2007: The long awaited first album by PLTK is ready to be released!album's title is SFIXT
