I'm so sad Harry Potter is over! I just re-read all seven of them in the last month and feel the same way I felt when Chaz moved away, that I've lost a friend!Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close by Jonathan Safran Foer. Read it!!!!!! Tears will come out, whether from laughing or crying. Oskar Schell is my new Owen Meany.Non fiction & biographies are my favorite- Please Kill Me, any serial killer books, Belushi (the one by his wife, not Wired), Be My Baby by Ronnie Spector, We Got The Neutron Bomb, England's Dreaming, On The Road With The Ramones, Vice, David Sedaris, Anthony Bourdain, Lemmy's autobiography was hysterical, any of the Rolling Stones bios., America The Book, Al Franken, Another Bullshit Night in Suck City by Nick Flynn,Hell's Angels (RIP Gonzo), Bye Bye Baby, George Carlin, Pamela Des Barres, the John Lydon autobiograpy, Scar Tissue and a special shout out to the recently deceased author of my favorite book Wonderland Avenue- Danny Sugarman (smoking will kill you!).I had not been reading much fiction but since I started going to the library again I'm way into it! I LOVE A Prayer for Owen Meany and any John Irving, Christopher Moore, Karl Hiaasen, recommend something to me!

My Nana, she had the guts to leave a bad marriage and move her kids across the country (in the middle of the night, on a train WITH the cat and dog no less!) to start a new life. She knew it would be hard (and it was) but she did it anyway to make a better life for my mom and uncle. I truly admire her and miss her more than anything.
