sounds very generic to say, but it really is a little bit of everything, i used to think that it was so lame when i was a kid to hear older cats say that but i guess i must be on the other side of the circle now because it seems incredibly narrow minded to restrict yourself to one genre. i definitely grew up on more gangster sounding rap so i'm more familiar with that but i can listen to anything from jada, to tiger army, to al green, to the distillers, to live, to underground reggeaton, to the sneakerpimps, to portishead, back to snoop. i know thats a lot but it really does vary, lately i've been throwing together cd's with music i find artistically inspiring(helps me tattoo better and faster for some reason)

i love to sit and watch movies! i got cable so i would have the movie channels. some favorites would probably be bullet(tupac and mickey rourke), belly(dmx and nas), the beach, american me(edward james olmos), ...and i must be the only tattoo artist i know that's not into horror movies. i don't know, just not my thing
OZ, Sopranos, The Wire, Deadwood, those hbo series fucking rule! i liked nip/tuck too. and of course i'll watch rapcity or 106th and park if i catch it playing a good video. and as embarassing as it is to admit, i cant peel myself away from any of those roadrules/realword challenge or battle of the sexes shows on mtv, where they vote eachother off and cry and bitch, i love it. and am i the only one who thinks mtv should still be running aeon flux?!? now she was a bad bitch!
ok, now this really is horrible...but the ONLY books i've been able to pick up and read through since highschool have been starwars novels... i don't want to hear it. for some reason, they're such an escape for me and i've read like 60 of them and lots of those more than once. the BEST book i ever read though was 'MONSTER:AN AUTOBIOGRAPHY OF AN L.A. GANG MEMBER by SANYIKA SHAKUR aka CODY SCOTT. it was like the bible to me when i was younger and involved in the whole gang scene myself. i strongly recommend that book to ANYONE, it's a very easy book to be pulled into and you dont have to be a gangbanger to understand it or relate(though it does help in understanding certain mentalities and following some trains of thought).
