Sonya Thomas has been competing in eating competitions for less than 3 years, but her path to the top of the sport was swift. Her nickname is "The Black Widow", as she is known for taking out her male opponents in the same manner as the deadly spider. Sonya currently holds 26 world records in eating, and in many of the contests she hasn't won, she only came in second. Small in stature but big on skill, Sonya has managed to displace many men, and she has carved a place in the world of competitive eating for women. Sonya is truly a legend in the sport, and her legacy will continue for years to come.
