I'm a man of many interests. Music being number one. Music has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Playing the piano since age 7. Growing up with 2 older brothers and an older sister, music has always been a huge part of our lives, especially dance/electronic music. I developed such a passion and ear for it.
Thanks to the constant encouragement and influence of my older brother - I picked up dj'ing @ age 11. With countless hours of practicing, who'da thunk I was honing the skills for my future?
Anyway, I was giggin' soon after with my brother. By 8th grade, I was mixing @ every college party that was thrown.
In highschool - I landed guest spots @ many highschools around Chicago and found myself to be part of the new sensation - "Dance Crews." That launched my young career but soon got out of dj'ing and switched focus on my life. I took interest on a new venture in life - Theatre/Music Theatre. Being such a new creative release for me, I took a hiatus from dj'ing and started concentrating on putting full focus on being a stage artist (an actor :-D). I went to school for it and got a B.A. in Musical Theatre and worked professionally throughout the Chicagoland.
So - here I am today... my life has yet changed again. I realize "my roots" are my roots and a huge part of my life was spent listening to dance music (..1. being HOUSE MUSIC). I'm off that hiatus and happy to say, I'm back!!! The music scene has evolved so much from the 70's, 80's, 90's to the present day and much of music's influence reflects on music culture and history. I've always wanted to produce my own music... so here I am today... with much of influence I've had in my life, I use that into what I create and produce.
