Now for tonights weather ... it's April. What do you expect?

About Me

I'm relatively nice, have good personal hygiene so be my friend! I'm studying film and literature at Warwick University. When not watching films I can normally be found in the pub or stressing the night before an essay has to be in, swearing blindly I'll never leave it until the last minute ever again, throwing the printer out of the window and not getting enough sleep. I sound bitter. I've got a radio show at RaW on sunday, every two weeks. I don't think they trust me with things that are technical, but they're probably obliged to let me on so..."Go Team!" TM

My Interests

I have loads of interests...comedy, radio, television, amateur accupuncture, imagining things!I also like waving at cars when I'm on the bus

I'd like to meet:

A Ninja and the drunk bloke in the Broomfield Tavern on the 11th August 2006 - legend! This clip is amazing!

Music:

All sorts! Stuff from the 80s like The Cure, New Order, Blondie, Glam Rock is always good. And loads of new stuff. Check out my radio show at www.radio.warwick.ac.uk

Movies:

I love so many movies, but here is my all time top 10 that I'd take with me to a desert island. 1. The Exorcist 2. The Bicycle Thieves 3. Kill Bill (1 &2 - they are technically one film) 4. Amores Perros 5. Amelie 6. Kind Hearts and Coronets 7. The Royal Tenenbaums 8. Airplane 9. Belle Epoque 10 Goldfinger

Television:

Family Guy, Peep Show, Have I Got News For You, Black Books. I don't like Eastenders - it's gotten too much like Little Britain. I've also developed a taste for Balamory through looking after my neice.

Books:

I bought the Mr Men books, but they've gotten too commercialised. What's next - Mr Mid Life Crisis? I love Shakespeare, John Donne, the Earl of Rochester, Milton. Pretty much any 17th Century Literature. Paul Celan is the greatest poet of the 20th Century. His poetry moves me. Everybody should read Primo Levi. "If This is a Man" is the most powerful piece of writing I think I have ever read. Walter Benjamin and Andre Bazin, love them.

Heroes:

*I think if someone is going to be a hero, they should have some form of superpower, except for Batman.*I liked George Lucas for a bit, until Episode Three. I bought all the figures when I was a kid, paid for his holidays. Did he cast one fat Jedi? No? What did he have? Some green woman and a bloke from Coneheads, but with liver spots. Pathetic.*I'd love to say someone like Nelson Mandela, but if I had the choice between meeting him and Ross Noble or Harry Hill, I'd pick the comedians.*Ricky Gervais is a genius.
