About Me

PLEASE READ BEFORE MESSAGING
This website exists for the expressed purpose of exposing my percussion and drum set skills to the public. The music selections featured are from bands that may or may not still exist. Please take this into consideration before messaging me. I did not fully write any of the songs on this page or on my demo page. I will have recordings up eventually that feature my songwriting skills but for now these do not. Thank you.

Hometown: Lexington, SC
Attended University of North Texas from 1997-2001 and various other learning institutes
I graduated Lexington High School in 1997 to go straight to UNT majoring in Music Education. I spent the better part of a year in 1999 up in Boston doing Drum and Bugle Corps playing snare. I came back to Dallas to join various other bands, tour, and record several other CDs. After 2 more years of playing out and trying to get the most out of school, I decided to try my luck at home. I have acquired many bands and experiences from SC but that wasn't enough! I moved back to Denton, Texas at the end of the summer of 2006. From there, many new and exciting things are in the works. I play Mapex , Istanbul , UFIP , Wuhan , Axis , Latin Percussion , Remo , DDrum , and Vater Sticks .
Hobbies: video games, reading, sleeping, writing for my solo project, random "useless" information, studying the beautiful martial arts of Kenpo, Hapkido and Ninjutsu
Inspiration: silence, letting the mind wander
Quotes: "Less is more." -Robert Browning
"The person who stands up and says, 'this is stupid,' either is asked to behave, or worse, is greeted with a cheerful 'Yes, we know! Isn't it terrific!?'" -Frank Zappa
"The surest way to corrupt a youth is to instruct him to hold in higher esteem those who think alike than those who think differently." -Friedrich Nietzsche
Pet Peeve: It would have to be a tie between misdirected hostility and arrogance in information.

Please check it out if you're a teaching or need of an instructor in the D/FW, El Paso, or Houston areas. We'd love to hook you up!!

My Personal Profile:
For those that actually know me in real life and not just on the web can find me here . I'm very picky about who I approve and bands shouldn't bother unless you're in one of my lists. If you are said band, please add me! I try to find most of my friends on here from old and new. They may feel free to add me if they desire. Otherwise, just message me. I promise I'm semi-harmless!
