Living the dream...

About Me

Me... I'm just the average guy, now living in Orlando (originally from Michigan). I moved down here when I got hired for my dream job. I have wanted to work at SeaWorld since I was 4... and now I do. I still wake up and find it hard to believe some days. I'm quite an adventurous person. I enjoy doing different things, challenging things. For instance, this year I went to Pamplona, Spain to run with the bulls, and it was incredible... and next year I'm looking at going to the Isla de Guadalupe to go diving with great whites. Sometime in the next year I hope to become a certified skydiver, but that will come when I have the money to do so...lol. But I'm always up for doing something new, and learning something new. I do enjoy school, that is when I'm studying somthing that I enjoy, otherwise I feel like I could be doing something better with my time. But I'm looking at going back to graduate school sometime in the next year or 2, not leaving SeaWorld of course, and hopefully I'll end up getting a doctorate, we'll see. I enjoy studying languages. Right now I'm trying out Italian... but Portugues, Norwegian, French, Russian, and ASL to come...HA, once again, we'll see...lol. But I guess that's me in a very small nutshell... just the average Joe...

My Interests

I'll try anything once... but mostly I'm into active things. Things that are challenging, unique, and different are always fun to try. For example... SCUBA diving, skydiving, surfing, triathalons (working towards an Iron Man), traveling, languages, dancing, working out, swimming, rock climbing, sports (pick-up with friends and competitive wrestling), spending time with friends and family. This list is endless...

I'd like to meet:

Anyone with a good heart. You can never have too many good people in your life.

Music:

There is rarely a style of music that I can't listen to. I especially enjoy music that makes you want to get up and dance, jump up and sing at the top of your lungs. Tastes may change over the years, but there are always those good old favorites you can come back to. Those are the best because they never grow old and die.

Movies:

I do enjoy a good movie. I have a decent size collection, basically because I think renting is a wast of time when you can buy it 4 months later for almost the same price. It's hard for me to pick a favorite because I enjoy so many different genres. It really depends on what type of movie I'm in the mood for then.

Television:

I don't watch a lot of television, not that I don't enjoy relaxing and taking my mind off things, but I really would rather be doing something outside or something active with people.

Books:

Books really arn't my thing... but who knows... maybe one day they will be... But I did just read James Rollins "Map of Bones" and did enjoy it...

Heroes:

Without a doubt, my mother. I do know numerous wonderful role models in this world, but none surpass that amazing woman.
