I began hand painting clothing for Vivienne Westwood/ Malcolm McLaren's famous SEDITONARIES boutique in Chelsea's Kings Road at the height of PUNK. This led to me painting some shirts for the Sex Pistols. I continued to make shirts for all members of the band after the split. Mostly, I designed and supplied shirts for Johnny Rotten and Public Image Limited (PIL) many pictures of John Rotten and Keith Levene feature my shirts back in the early years of the band. I continued to work on other post Pistol projects. I designed several shirts for the film "The Great Rock and Roll Swindle". At the time, I also made shirts for Gene October (Chelsea) UK Subs, Bollock Bothers, Don Letts (Big Audio Dynamite) Clash, Adam Ant, Marriane Faithful. My shirts were also sold in the BOY boutique, London. My history of working in Rock and Roll continued over the years with clients including NIN, Marilyn Manson, Modern English, Bowie. I also had a line of shirts in Prince's 'New Power Generation Store' London. I have also designed pieces for many actors and actresses over the years. At present I am busy developing a small line of hand painted apparel in LA. It has taken a long time to develop a technique of painting of textiles, and my work is constantly evolving, and, I hope, improving! my clothing is expensive, but my clients are getting a unique item which has taken years of evolution and rock and roll history.....and a lot of hours to put together!
