About Me

Hmm, ok so here’s me in a nutshell. My name is Brett, I was born in LA in the mid-80's and ever since then I have loved art. Growing up I found myself moving all over the United States, but my family usually ended up back in Cali. Really, one of the only constants I had growing up was a pencil and paper. In high school, along with trying to improve on my drawing abilities, I got really into graffiti (which now shows up in a lot of my work). As high school came to a close I began to relentlessly study design and design theory. I went to SMC for a couple years, got a 4.0 then got the hell outta there b/c I was accepted into my current school: Art Center College of Design . The school is ridiculous, it’s the pinnacle of art and design schools; the students that have attended the school continuously shape the world in prolific ways – I’m proud to say that I am now among them. Right now I’m in my 4th semester on my way to a BFA in advertising. Eventually I want to obtain a MFA from Art Center in either advertising or graphic design. Till I get my degrees though, I'm just chillin' and continue to do the student thing.
Outside of school, I just usually kick it with my girlfriend or my homies. I have an Xbox360 (gamertag: Bone 722) so we usually get down on some Madden or Gears of War whenever they come over (not my girlfriend, she isn’t any good at games… I know, it makes her sad too). Movies are cool too, I used to go a lot until they started costing as much as a tank of gas. You will also rarely find me without music nearby, I have about 40 gigs worth of it on my computer – mostly Hip-Hop. Some of my favorite artists on there are Snoop Dogg, 2pac, Outkast, Nas, Ludacris and Sade. Sade is the shit.
So yeah, that’s basically me right there, I don’t do many things not related to homework anymore. If you’re interested in hiring me scroll down and read the paragraph about that or just go ahead and message me.
Peace out.
In me, you will find someone who is experienced, skilled and highly motivated. I am available for anything you need, from projects as big as branding your entire business or creating custom and effective advertising campaigns to smaller projects such as CD/DVD art, photo retouching/manipulating, graffiti art, menus, business stationary, web banners, logos, tattoo designs, cartoons... basically anything you need done - I do it, and do it better.
I have worked with professionals at all levels of design and marketing so I have seen how a lot of them operate. Unfortunately, some companies get so big, or freelancers get so busy, that they don't take the time to ensure uniqueness and share in the client's goals. This is why I have broken off from them to better serve all of you. I take the time to sit down and understand your goals. Then I work with you in helping you reach those goals.
I work beyond expectations and do not rest until you are completely satisfied.
When it comes to art... I'm like...
what Paul Wall is to Grillz /
what Lil John is to Crunk /
what M J was to Dunk/
And what James Brown was to Funk /
...I just do it right.
She says I'm so cute, she can't keep her hands off me

My Interests

Music, art, games, and people

I'd like to meet:

Talented musicians (rappers, singers and producers alike) who are serious about what they do and want some serious graphic work done for them.

If i could pull people back, I would kick it with my dad again, also Bruce Lee, Dondi White, Buddah, Tupac, Biggie, Picasso, Salvador Dali, MC Escher (he's an artist, not a musician, check out his work, its dope).

If i could get at people, I would kick it with Shaq, Bill Gates, Russell Simmons, Diddy, Dr Dre, Kanye, T.I., Snoop Dogg, Nas, Jay-Z....and a whole bunch of other people who have gone way beyond success and branched out to create mini-empires. I would kick it with the guy who created the Boondocks, as well a few other CEO's and ultra successful people - they did it and I'm on my way there.

Oh, and incase I forgot to mention it, I'm always up for talking to people who want to work with me.

Hit me up!
