Ear muff it for me!

About Me

Originally, I'm from a small town in Nebraska, but I now reside in Southern California. I would tell you where, but it would take too long and you still probably wouldn't know. Long story short, I joined the Marines, lived all around the US & floated on a boat for awhile in some bad places. I got out after 6 years, went to college and now I work for the Marines as a Flight Test Engineer on helicopters. Basically, I made one large circle. Great working for them though, little bullshit and they are relentless alcoholics.I am probably one of the more brutally honest people you will ever meet. I am down-to-earth, easy-going, and I would do anything for a friend or a good laugh. Most would say I have a sarcastic/quip-tastic/self-depricating sense of humor, but if you can't laugh at yourself, what's the point? Who ever said "the day we stop laughing is the day we stop enjoying life and die" was right. I work hard, play hard (actually I'm a home-body) and generally annoy the shit out of everyone, especially my girlfriend. Always remember though, work to live, not live to work. You have to take everything in stride and not take anything too serious, especially yourself.Heather and I welcomed our son Hayden Christopher on September 14th, 2006. He is a healthy, happy baby boy and we are having a great time with parenthood. I am still not used to crying, waking up at 2 a.m. or poopy diapers, so I am out of the running for "Parent of the Year".

My Interests

Golf (The only sport you can drink and drive and be excused from hitting someone / a house with balls all at the same time!) Really that's about all I have time for, sorry its boring.

I'd like to meet:

Dave Matthews, Dave Chappelle, Kevin Smith and Jeremy Piven!
Get this video and more at MySpace.com

Music:

Dave Matthews Band and Jack Johnson is what I usually have in my CD player. Honestly I listen to everything, but country. Anything acoustic or jazz, rock, hip hop and R&B. You name it I listen to it.

Movies:

Scent of a Woman, Full Metal Jacket, Bad News Bears, 40 Year Old Virgin, The Goonies, The Matrix Trilogy, Better Off Dead, Cable Guy, Caddy Shack, Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgandy, Stripes, SuperTroopers. Anything with Vince Vaughn, Steve Carell, Al Pacino and Dane Cook.

Television:

'Chappelle's Show' - before he went to Africa - and 'My Name is Earl' is pretty badass, but I really don't watch anything else on a regular basis.

Books:

I usually don't read anything heavy unless its Maxim, Stuff or something I have to read for work.

Heroes:

My Mom, cancer survivor and like a samurai warrior with a yard stick! (3 boys will do that to you. We are all only 1 year apart from each other and she raised us by herself!)
