Martin is a new up and coming young artist on the New York jazz scene. Though just landing himself in Tarrytown, NY in January of 2007, Martin is no stranger to the scene as he recently received his B.M. Jazz Performance from Western Connecticut State University in Danbury, CT. Martin brings a unique sound and approach to the tenor as well as his own charismatic method to playing and composition. Martin has studied with greats such as Dr. Dan Goble(NY Philharmonic, NY Ballet, Harvey Pittel Saxophone Quartet), Andrew Beals(Jack McDuff & the Heatin' System), and Rich Perry. Martin has also performed with artists such as Chris Morrison, Dave Scott, Trever Somerville, and the Jamie Begian Big Band.
