About Me
Well what can I say. I've been playing music since I was 14 years old. I started playing with 2 stereo system and doing basement parties. Throughout the years I progressed from doing house parties, to doing mobile work but that was unfulfilling due to the fact that I felt my creative energies were stifled. Playing top 100 chart songs is robotic and uncreative. Going to clubs like the Garage, the Loft, Bonds International, The Funhouse, Gothams, ect., and what I saw I was inspired by the energy that could be harnessed and released back to the crowd. This was my calling. As you know there were no venus to support unknown DJ's at the time, so I let it go but I looked forward to the day that I could share my love of music with people and dancers that truly appreciated the love of HOUSE music that inspired & touched my soul.
That opportunity came in the fall of 2002 when I was given the chance and a small venue. With the help of Mimi, Chino3(aka Ju Soong Sun), George (Son) Boria, DJ Erving & Victor Nelson, Dat Party was born. With out them Dat Party would never have been or flourished. With an idea and a lot of sweat we managed to get the party off the ground.
We all believed if you play it, they will come househeads, dancers, DJ's and people from all walks of life have blessed our little party. Since the begining we have been blessed on the tables by many known & unknown dj's who share the love that is House Music. I have also been blessed by the opportunity to play alongside dj's such as Antonio Ocasio, Preston Brown, Kervyn Marc from Melting Pot, Louie 'Lou' Gorbea from ASHE, Cachaco, Danny Arington, Tommy Bones, Wil Milton, Master Kev, Filsonic, Scott Wosniak, Jovonn, , Mario Robert & Chino from Soul-sa, Tyrone Francis, Mr.v & Alix Alvarez from Soul Channel, Quentin Harris, Ruben Toro, Osunlade,DJ JB, Nef Nunez. As guest dj I have been blessed by the chance to play for Ashe, Melting Pot, Sole Channel, Lil Ray's Clubhose Jamboree & a few other parties that inspire and welcome all walks of life. I also did a residency for Curly's Stress Relief Thurdays along with DJ JB. I would like to thank all of them. I would like to thank and acknowledge the sacrifices and effors that as partners through this, the folloing dj's have tought me that they can put up with all the madnees that follows in a musical journey: DJ Erving, DJ JB & Nef Nunez. I would also like to express my gratitude with everyone else that has put their time, effort and sweat in helping Dat Party in it's quest to bring you the music to all who appreciate it. You know who you are. Currently I'm working in the production of tracks that I hope that will bring joy to all that are inspired by this music we call HOUSE.
